Project Description:

The VDM Group was awarded two contracts by BHP Billiton worth around $30 million.  The first contract is a variation to its existing agreement with BHP Billiton Iron Ore for its Central REG Camp project at the Area C mine.

Survey Scope:

ST Spatial was engaged by VDM Constructions to complete the surveying of the earthworks, roads, infrastructure and camp at BHP’s Area C project. ST Spatial was responsible for the survey control, setout and as-built surveys for the project. ST Spatial was also responsible for the data and the ongoing support for the machine control systems on the various earthmoving plant on site.
