Project Description:

This transformation of the former North Perth Police Station, a rundown 1907 heritage-listed building, created a contemporary, three-storey, state-of-the-art children’s early learning centre.

The integration of the new with the old required extensive structural engineering and addition of skylights to the previously dim building. The high-spec centre features:

• A range of different play, quiet and nursing rooms

• Commercial kitchen, offices and vehicle lift to the basement

• car park

• Elevated outdoor play area incorporating fruit trees, 8m-high tree trunks, sand pits, water play areas, grass and suspended skywalk over the two-level void

Survey Scope:

ST Spatial have completed many projects in the education sector. Work has included boundary re-establishment surveys, setout surveys for concrete, bolts, steelwork and as-constructed surveys and QA reports.
