Project Description:

In 2007 the WMRC entered a Waste Supply Agreement with DiCOM AWT Operations Pty Ltd to construct the world’s first DiCOM® Bioconversion Waste Processing System at the Facility. The finished system will consist of three processing vessels, two water storage tanks, a materials recovery building, power generation equipment and a waste receive and loading area.

Survey Scope:

ST Spatial was engaged in the initial stages of the project, right through to the as-built sign off.

ST Spatial scope of works included the following:

  • Site set out and installing, maintaining and monitoring survey control
  • Checking and verifying design tie-in points for existing services, steel and concrete structures.
  • Site setout and as-con surveys of all concrete footings, pedestals, suspended slabs.
  • Dimensional control surveys for the correct positioning and alignment of steelwork, tanks, pipework and machine assemblies on site.
  • Compliance with all client procedures and policies.
